Happy Red Ribbon Week - Celebration in the Community

Germantown Youth Futures and the Germantown Community want to celebrate Red Ribbon Week in a special way this year by offering free items at different venues. We try to celebrate Red Ribbon Week every year in honor of Enrique Camarena, a Drug Enforcement Administration Special Agent, who lost his life while working toward drug prevention. This year Red Ribbon Week is October 23rd - October 31st. If you would like to wear red during this time, make red ribbons, and wear them or just share in this drug free week that would be great.

Germantown is offering the following if you enter wearing a red ribbon and say, "Happy Red Ribbon Week":

1. Cousin's Subs on County Line Road - 50% off

2. Family Funland - 10 tokens

3. McDonald's on County Line Road - free $.49 ice cream cone

4. Robert's Frozen Custard - 10% off

5. Cake and Bake - sugar cookie

6. WaterStone Bank - sucker

7. 1st Bank Financial Centre - pencil/sucker/sticker

8. Germantown Library - bookmark

9. Germantown Police Department - sucker and a pledge card

Please help us celebrate Red Ribbon Week in Germantown.

Thank you all for making programs like this a great success.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me Anita Hilleman at 262-335-6886 or ahilleman@councilonaoda.org.
