GERMANTOWN – Bands from Germantown High School will perform a concert on Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 7 p.m. in the GHS auxiliary gymnasium.
The concert will feature the Freshman Concert Winds, Symphonic Band and the Wall of Sound 10-12 Ensemble, performing music that celebrates our American heritage, the band’s recent London tour, classic musicals and band standards. Favorites from “Fiddler on the Roof” and “Les Miserables” are among the selections that will be highlighted.
Under the direction of James Barnes and Jonathan Bell, the bands feature the talents of more than 180 high school students. The concert is open to the public. Admission is $2 per person or $5 per family.
