Germantown resident elected to Girl Scout Board

Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast (GSWISE) announces the appointment of Germantown resident Julie Ledger to its board of directors for 2012-2013.

As Vice President/General Manager of Opus Development Corporation, Ledger oversees all real estate development and design-building construction for the Milwaukee office of Opus. Her responsibilities include land acquisition, development, marketing, leasing, third party design-build project pursuit and execution. Julie currently serves on the Milwaukee Montessori School Board and is a member of the
Marquette University Construction Engineering and Management Advisory Board. She received her Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environment Engineering from Marquette University.

"The staff and board of GSWISE are happy to welcome Ms. Ledger as a new Board member. Her background, experience, and unique perspective make her a great asset to our mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character,” said Carol Robinson, interim CEO of Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast.

Also newly appointed are Anjana Murali (Shorewood, Wisconsin), a junior at Shorewood High School; Nicole Best (Wauwatosa, Wisconsin), senior vice president and chief financial officer at Heartland Advisors Inc.; Robert Monnat (Milwaukee, Wisconsin), partner and chief operating officer at Mandel Group, Inc.; and Andrew Narrai (Bayside, Wisconsin), Chief Operating Officer and partner at Trefoil Group.

The board officers for the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast for 2012-2013 are Board Chair, Kathleen O'Brien, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at Alverno College; 1st Vice Chair, Tom Myers, Attorney at Reinhart, Boerner, Van Duren s.c.; 2nd Vice Chair, Teri Jacobson, Kenosha County Treasurer; Treasurer, Georgann Stinson, Chief Operational Officer at General Converters & Assemblers, Inc.; and Secretary, Carita Twinem, Vice President – Tax at Spectrum Brands Holdings, Inc.
