Major Rummage Sale Hosted by Trinity Lutheran School

March 15, 2012

Why not welcome spring with a great bargain? Trinity Lutheran School on Freistadt Road in Mequon will host their annual rummage sale and bake sale on Saturday, March 31 from 9am to 3pm and all of the surrounding communities are invited! The school gymnasium will be filled with furniture, baby items, toys, clothing, household items, books, movies and more, including a special area designated for antiques. The bake sale will feature everyone’s favorites, especially homemade pies, banana bread, lemon bars, blueberry muffins, cookies and even Gluten-free desserts. For the shoppers’ convenience, a light lunch of hot dogs, chips and soda will also be available for purchase. Those looking for a real bargain may take advantage of the Bag Sale, which begins at 1pm. Anything that fits in a grocery bag is just $5!

In addition to attending, the community is welcome to donate items to the sale and may drop them off in the Trinity school gymnasium from 4-7pm on Thursday, March 29 and Friday, March 30. Volunteers will be available to assist you with unloading your car and carrying in the items, and tax receipts are available. Trinity’s rummage and bake sale also provides an excellent service opportunity for local high school and college students. Shifts are available in 2-hour increments on Friday and Saturday and involve positions in set up, cashier, bagger, customer service, security and clean up. For more information on donating items or volunteering, please contact Michele Zirtzlaff at 414-305-3009.
