MENOMONEE FALLS SWIM CLUB STATE MEET RESULTS

 

 

The Menomonee Falls Swim Club recently completed their Short Course season and obtained some tremundous results.

 

The 12 and Under Wisconsin State meet was held at the University of Wisconsin Madison Natatorium. Samantha Siebenaller finished either 2nd or 3rd in four events out of eight. She took 2nd place in the 50 yard butterfly, 3rd place in the 100 yard butterfly, 3rd place in the 50 yard freestyle and 3rd place in the 200 yard butterfly. With her combined points, Sam ended up in 7th place overall in the 11-12 year old catagory. Sam's 2nd place butterfly win earned her a top spot in the club records. She broke the record that had stood since 1994.

 

 

 

Rachel Jaworski just missed finishing in the top 10% in the 50 yard freestyle (with an 11th place finish) and took off 5.22 seconds in the 100 yard breaststroke.

 

 

 

Others swimming in the meet: McKenna Coulter, Peyton Driebel, Stephanie Marks, Emma Neale, Jenny Wesolowski, Paige Driebel and Emma Jankowski.

 

 

 

The 13 and Over Wisconsin State meet was held at Schroeder Aquatic Center in Brown Deer.

 

 

 

The results are: Kate Criter took 3rd place in the 100 yard breaststroke and 4th place in the 200 yard breaststroke, Haley Lucas took 3 place in the 100 yard butterfly and 5th place in the 200 yard butterfly, Amanda Siehs took 3rd place in the 100 yard freestyle, 4th place in the 200 yard freestyle and 5th place in the 50 yard freestyle.

 

 

 

Other improvements are: Elizabeth Buchholz took off 8.75 seconds in the 1650 yard freestyle, Hannah Mast took off 47.49 seconds in the 1650 yard freestyle, 7.83 seconds in the 400 yard individual medley and 5.49 seconds in the 1000 yard freestyle, Rachel Siebenaller took off 13.04 seconds in the 400 yard individual medley and 5.26 seconds in the 500 yard freestyle. Samantha Siebenaller took 10th place in the 200 yard butterfly which earned her another top spot on the record board and broke the record from 1992.

 

 

 

Others swimming in the meet: Matt Ciolkosz, Haley DeGrace, Morgan Fischer, Ryan Litzau, Alle Ragland, Abby Schabel, John Sieler, Sommer Semanek, Brittany Boehler, Maryellen Pawley, Elizabeth Gilchrist, Megan Hessler, Jenny Wolf, Kelsey Ogle, Brice Grunert and Scott Mueller.

 

 

 

All in all, the club had 32 state qualifiers, 6 Speedo Champion qualifiers and 4 Jr National qualifiers. Team records were broken by Sam Siebenaller, Elizabeth Buchholz, Kate Criter, Haley Lucas, Rachel Siebenaller and Amanda Siehs. 15 team records were broken in all.
