Scrumptious Endeavors is up for the challenge to grow a business in Germantown. Scrumptious Endeavors starts each cupcake from scratch. Great time and care is given to each cupcake they sell. Every cupcake is baked to perfection, then delicately piped and garnished for that finishing touch. Finally, they are placed in a fabulous pink box with a liner so the cupcakes will not move during travel.
Currently Scrumptious Endeavors has over twelve flavors listed on their website. Each flavor has a description and price listed next to it. Some of their more popular flavors include hot fudge sundae, peanut butter chocolate, strawberry margarita, and Oreo.
They also offer cupcake of the month November is Pumpkin. Perfectly tasting pumpkin cake with a hint of cinnamon and creamy melt in your mouth cream cheese frosting. Their holiday menu includes chocolate peppermint, gingerbread, eggnog, pink champagne, and red velvet. Scrumptious Endeavors is currently talking about expanding their menu to accommodate more interests. They plan to launch this in the spring.
With a terrific cupcake menu already the Scrumptious women had to decide where to sell their cupcakes. Vicki a graduate of Alverno College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business and a keen interest in Marketing immediately researched the competition upon meeting Kelly the visionary and gourmet baker of Scrumptious Endeavors. Knowing that they have great cupcakes is not enough they also had to understand where the competition is in their community, how they have priced their product, what they are doing for promotion, and finally where they are placed.
Scrumptious Endeavors placed their product in Germantown and communities within 20 miles of their radius. They did this for several reasons the first being they live in Germantown. Their kids go to school there they are active in their community and they understand what their community needs. Germantown has over 20,000 residents most with families with two parents working. Families want wholesome desserts that taste good and often do not have time to prepare it. They also want variety and cupcakes offer that their is no cut and serve and you can get variety at a low cost. Finally, Germantown is a supportive community that gives back to its residents.
With the understanding that Germantown and the western communities do not have gourmet cupcake companies at their back door. They do have grocery stores and other bakeries that offer cupcakes. Some that use standard mixes and some that don't. None of the locations are exclusive to cupcakes and the variety that Kelly and Vicki offer. Scrumptious Endeavors is the first gourmet cupcake company in Germantown, WI. They are very proud to offer pick up and delivery. After deciding the community the women then needed to decide on where to sell and bake their cupcakes.
After looking at several options Kelly and Vicki chose a local deli by the name of Kurt Schultz Deli and located at N112W16700 Mequon Rd Germantown, WI 53022 to rent their commercial kitchen, sell, and pick up their cupcakes. The deli has a great customer clientele is open for both breakfast and lunch and has great home made food.
It is the hope of Scrumptious Endeavors to one day have their own store front and they feel this is a great stepping stone to that dream. They will be having a Product Promotion there on Wednesday November 17, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please join them for lunch and a cupcake.
