Janczak earns second-team all-NAC in soccer

Germantown graduate Jamie Janczak was recently named second-team All Northern Athletics Conference for the MSOE women's soccer team as a midfielder.

This season, MSOE made it to the second round of the conference tournament for the first time in school history. Janczak was one of three MSOE players to earn either first or second-team all-league honors.

Elks Hoop Shoot winners announced

The Germantown Parks and Recreation Department has announced the winners of Elks Club Hoop Shoot contest that took place at Kennedy Middle School on Saturday.

Winners advance to the Milwaukee Area Competition, which is tentatively set for Jan. 9. District, state, regional and national competition follow.

The top two finishers by age group include the following: boys ages 8-9 - Jonathan Wizner and Ben Brandenburg; girls 8-9 - Jenna Agbuis and McKenna Godlewski; boys 10-11 - Nathan Hefle and Jake Wilson; girls 10-11 - Alyssa Valenti and Lauren Wilder; boys 12-13 - Andrew Pecunia and William Renard; and girls 12-13 - Samantha Martin and Emma Brandenburg.
