Micro-soccer program set for this fall
The Menomonee Falls soccer program will host a series of micro-soccer events this fall for 3- to 6-year-olds.
They will be held Sept. 14, 21 and 28 and Oct. 5 and 12 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the high school soccer stadium. The focus will be on learning the game, being good sports, interacting with others and having fun in a safe learning environment.
Falls varsity soccer coach Scott Stein will coordinate the program and will be assisted by current and former Indians players.
The cost of the program is $40 a child, including training and a T-shirt.

Sussex Sun Devils softball to host tryouts
The Sussex Sun Devils 2010 girls fastpitch softball team will hold tryouts for its U10, U12, U14 and U16 teams on Aug. 15 and 16 at Sussex Armory Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days with an alternate date of Aug. 18 at 6 p.m.
Early registration is required to participate and the program is open to residents both in and out of the Hamilton School District. Registration information can be found at sussexsundevils.org. Click on the news/info page and the link "How to join."
