ROBBERY

1An employee called 911 after two unknown black males displayed a handgun and robbed Verizon Wireless, N112 W16510 Mequon Road, at 2:30 p.m. March 18.

THEFT

2A 27-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were arrested for shoplifting an undisclosed amount of merchandise at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., about 4 p.m. March 17.

3An 80-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting at Fleet Farm, N96 W189200 County Line Road, at 5:15 p.m. March 17.

4A 39-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting after she was seen concealing merchandise at Fleet Farm, N96 W189200 County Line Road, at 11:25 a.m. March 20.

5A 45-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting an undisclosed amount of merchandise at Fleet Farm, N96 W18200 County Line Road, at 8:10 p.m. March 21.

6A 1998 Chevy Tahoe was stolen from a driveway in the W148 N9700 block of Tree Tops Drive sometime between the late evening hours of March 21 and 8 a.m. March 22.

7A credit card and $200 cash was stolen from a wallet left inside a vehicle parked in the N101 W15900 block of Santa Fe Drive between the late evening hours of March 21 and 1 p.m. March 22.

8A 29-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting at Fleet Farm, N96 W18200 County Line Road, at 5:5p.m. March 22.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

9A 31-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving after he rear-ended a vehicle on Goldendale and Holy Hill roads, then fled the scene and struck a residence in the W204 N11400 block of Goldendale Road about 5:20 p.m. March 16. The suspect, whose preliminary blood alcohol content was 0.19, was also arrested and cited for speeding, driving too fast for conditions, inattentive driving, disregarding a traffic signal, failure to have control of a vehicle.

ACCIDENTS

10Two drivers were taken to the hospital after their cars collided on Maple and Freistadt roads at 5:50 a.m. March 21. One of the drivers was cited for failure to yield the right of way.

FIRE

11The Germantown Fire Department and police responded to a report of a semi on fire on the Lannon Road off-ramp on south U.S. Highway 41 at 7:10 p.m. March 18. The driver stated the brakes malfunctioned shortly before the semi caught on fire.

OTHER

12An employee at a driver's education company called police at 7:30 p.m. March 17 to report a resident sent flowers and a letter to their company stating that, due to an ongoing police investigation, student drivers should not drive in the area of her residence on Wagon Trail and Santa Fe Drive. Police made contact with the resident and warned her about her conduct and her incorrect beliefs about what is going on in her subdivision.

13An 18-year-old man was arrested for an absolute sobriety violation after he was pulled over for a traffic violation on Squire Drive and Mequon Road at 9:15 p.m. March 20.

14A caller reported a man with bike tire strapped to his back was yelling obscenities in the N116 W15900 block of Main Street at 5:40 p.m. March 21. Police located the man, who stated he was yelling because drivers weren't allowing him to cross the street. He was warned on his behavior and sent on his way.

· Germantown police assisted with 10 rescue calls and two fire calls between March 16 and March 23.
