Police Report: July 16

ROBBERY

1A robbery was reported at M&I Bank, W156 N11150 Pilgrim Road, at 2:50 p.m. July 9. The suspect was described as a white male in his late 20s with short, scruffy facial hair and wearing a tan shirt with dark sleeves, a baseball cap, jeans and sunglasses. The suspect passed a note to the teller but no weapon was displayed. He was last seen walking north toward Mequon Road along the tree line.

2A robbery was reported at US Bank, N96 W18480 County Line Road, at 11:25 a.m. July 13. The suspect, who is believed to be responsible for the robbery at M&I Bank on July 9, was arrested with another suspect in Milwaukee later in the day.

THEFT

3Christmas decorations and kitchen items were reported stolen from a storage unit in the W168 N11300 block of Western Avenue at 3:40 p.m. July 7.

4A woman reported her smartphone was stolen while she was at an estate sale in the N104 W15600 block of Donges Bay Road before 11:25 a.m. July 9.

5A driver left without paying for an unknown amount of gas at Kwik Trip, W188 N10963 Maple Road, at 11 a.m. July 9.

6The driver left without paying for $69 of gas at Kwik Trip, W188 N10963 Maple Road, on July 9. Police have a suspect and are investigating.

7A 39-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at 4:15 p.m. July 9.

8A dark blue mountain bike was stolen from Alt Bauer Park, W165 N10749 Wagon Trail, between the late evening hours of July 9 and 8 a.m. July 10.

9Two license plates were stolen from a company truck at Badger Distributing, W162 N11819 Fond du Lac Ave., before 1 p.m. July 10.

10A package was reported stolen in the N113 W16900 block of Driftwood Court at 6:20 p.m. July 10. The victim stated the package was confirmed as delivered by FedEx on June 21, but it was never received.

11The driver of a red, older model Chevy truck left without paying for $155 of gas at Quick Pick, N128 W21760 Holy Hill Road, at 11:40 p.m. July 14.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

12A 22-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving in the W157 N11600 block of Fond du Lac Avenue at 9:15 p.m. July 12. Her preliminary blood alcohol content was unavailable at the time of the report.

VANDALISM

13The windshield and tires of a car were damaged in the N120 W16300 block of Freistadt Road before 11 a.m. July 8.

14A mailbox was vandalized in the N114 W15100 block of Vicksburg Avenue before 9:30 a.m. July 14.

OTHER

15A 34-year-old man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia in the W178 N9600 block of Riversbend Lane shortly after 11 p.m. July 7.

16Two 15-year-old girls were cited for underage drinking at Alt Bauer Park, W165 N10749 Wagon Trail, at 11:30 p.m. July 8.

17An employee reported two unknown males caused a disturbance, then ate four hot dogs and left without paying at Speedway, W164 N11233 Squire Drive, at 11:30 p.m. July 13. The suspects fled in a blue Honda van.

FIRE

18Firefighters and police responded to a report of a grass fire behind a residence in the W188 N10000 block of Maple Road at 3:15 p.m. July 10. The property owner, a 77-year-old man, stated he was burning brush in a fire pit when the fire spread to his lawn. He was cited for a burning violation.

19A lit cigarette started some mulch on fire outside Sunlite Plastics, W194 N11340 McCormick Drive, shortly after 5 p.m. July 11. The fire was extinguished before firefighter's arrival, but the building had to be ventilated due to excessive smoke. No injuries were reported.

Germantown police assisted with 22 rescue calls and two fire calls between July 7 and July 15.
