THEFT

1Scrap metal was stolen from a property in the N132 W15800 block of Rockfield Road between Aug. 10 and Aug. 18.

2A 36-year-old man was arrested after he attempted to use a stolen credit card to purchase merchandise at Menards, W186 N9754 Appleton Ave., at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 14.

3A purse and other items were stolen from a car parked at Kinderberg Park, N104 W14942 Donges Bay Road, before 12:30 p.m. Aug. 15.

4An 18-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at 11:40 p.m. Aug. 15.

5A caller reported someone stole two personal checks from him while he was at Buzdum's, W188 N10515 Maple Road, on Aug. 15.

6A 21-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting at Fleet Farm, N96 W18200 County Line Road, at 11:10 a.m. Aug. 16.

7A 20-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting at Fleet Farm, N96 W18200 County Line Road, at 3:50 p.m. Aug. 16.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

8A 44-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving and for having two valid warrants through the Germantown Police Department in the N116 W16400 block of Main Street shortly after 3 a.m. Aug. 16. His preliminary blood alcohol content was unavailable.

VANDALISM

9A vehicle was vandalized while parked at a residence in the W172 N13400 block of Division Road before 1:20 p.m. Aug. 14. The caller also reported finding an ax in the driveway of the home.

10A window on a car was broken in the Walmart parking lot, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., before 10:20 p.m. Aug. 18.

11A mailbox was vandalized in the W188 N13700 block of Maple Road before 10 a.m. Aug. 19. It appeared someone struck the top of the mailbox causing minor damage.

OTHER

12A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at Speedway, W178 N9653 Riversbend Lane, before 2:15 p.m. Aug. 16.

13Officers responding to a noise complaint on Biscayne and Armada drives cited a 19-year-old woman and an 18-year-old woman for underage drinking shortly after 3 a.m. Aug. 21.

Germantown police assisted with 17 rescue calls and two fire calls between Aug. 14 and Aug. 21.
