1A blue plastic bin containing passports, tax records, Social Security cards, birth certificates, several pieces of jewelry and a coin collection was stolen from a residence in the 14300 block of Menomonee Avenue sometime between noon June 11 and noon June 13. The victim gave police the name of a possible suspect who was helping her move the items into her new residence and police are following up.
2A 28-year-old New Berlin man was arrested for theft after he was pulled over for heroin possession in Kenosha County and the deputy discovered he had stolen plumbing parts from Bradley Corporation, W142 N9101 Fountain Blvd., at about 11 p.m. on Sunday, June 29. The suspect, who is an employee at Bradley, had empty parts boxes inside his vehicle and police are following up with the business to find out how many parts were stolen by the suspect between September of 2012 and the time of his arrest.
3A woman was arrested for shoplifting after she concealed five food items in a plastic bag and left the store without paying at Piggly Wiggly, N81 W15182 Appleton Ave., at about 5:15 p.m. on Monday, June 30.
4An unknown female shoplifted two Dyson vacuum cleaners at Kohl's, N95 W18000 Appleton Ave., and then fled in a mid- to late-90s green and silver Dodge Durango at about 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1. The incident was captured on video surveillance and police are investigating. The same suspect, described as a 25- to 35-year-old black female, returned to the store and stole two more Dyson vacuum cleaners at about 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, July 10.
5An unknown person(s) stole two Miller brand DC inverter arc welders from a construction site in the W165 N5800 block of Ridgewood Drive sometime between 6 a.m. June 18 and 8 a.m. July 2.
6An unknown person stole about $2,000 worth of sporting and camera equipment from a locked Land Rover parked in the 14500 block of Thornhill Drive sometime between 10:30 p.m. July 7 and 8 a.m. July 8. The unknown suspect(s) also entered another unlocked vehicle in the driveway and stole about $4 in change. The report did not say how the suspect(s) gained entry to the Land Rover, but damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1,500.
7An unknown person(s) shoplifted 16 cans of Gerber baby formula, valued at $287, at Pick N Save, N95 W18273 County Line Road, at about 3:30 p.m. July 2. The incident, which is possibly related to two earlier thefts of baby formula at the same location, was captured on video surveillance.
8An unknown person(s) stole a park bench from the garden behind Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, W180 N7863 Town Hall Road, sometime between 4 p.m. July 5 and 4 p.m. July 7.
9A 21-year-old man was arrested for theft after he drove off without paying for $42 worth of gas at Wittlin's, N92 W17387 Appleton Ave., at about 9:40 a.m. on Thursday, July 10. The suspect was pulled over shortly after the theft and was taken into custody.
10An unknown person(s) stole $50 worth of flowers and a flower pot from a driveway in the 7600 block of Lilly Road sometime between noon and 12:45 p.m. Thursday, July 10.
11An 18-year-old Germantown man was arrested for possession of marijuana on school grounds after an off-duty Menomonee Falls Police sergeant saw him smoking marijuana in the baseball dugout at Ben Franklin Elementary School, N81 W14701 Franklin Drive, at about 10 a.m. on Monday, July 7.
12An officer investigating a suspicious, occupied vehicle stopped in the roadway on Patton and Roosevelt drives arrested the 21-year-old driver for drunken driving at about 2:15 a.m. on Saturday, July 5. A chemical breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.24.
13An unknown person(s) slashed all four tires of a 1991 Toyota Celica parked in a driveway in the 14000 block of Northpoint Drive sometime between midnight and 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 6.
14The Menomonee Falls Fire Department and police responded to a report of three mailboxes on fire in the 6600 block of Ash Drive at about 10:20 p.m. Friday, June 27. The fire was extinguished and only the mailboxes were damaged. There were no suspects or leads at the time of the report.
15An 18-year-old woman was arrested for an absolute sobriety violation after she was pulled over for several traffic violations on Silver Spring Drive and Lannon Road at about 12:45 a.m. on Saturday, July 5. A chemical breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.06. An 18-year-old female passenger in her car was also cited for underage drinking.
16A 21-year-old Menomonee Falls man was arrested for a probation violation after he admitted drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana before meeting with his probation and parole agent at the Menomonee Falls Police Station, W156 N8480 Pilgrim Road, at about 8:25 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9.
Menomonee Falls police responded to three domestic violence calls and assisted with one fire call between June 27 and July 10.
