Germantown - Six people were injured Oct. 11 in a crash that involved a school bus and two cars at Mequon and Division roads.
Five of those injured were Germantown High School students. The injuries were minor, Germantown Police Chief Peter Hoell said.
According to Hoell:
A Pontiac was traveling west on Mequon Road and attempted to make a left turn onto Division Road just after 2:30 p.m. Oct. 11. The school bus and a Plymouth Neon were both traveling east on Mequon Road. The Pontiac turned in front of the bus and the Neon, colliding with the Neon before spiraling out of control and striking the bus.
Twenty-eight students from the high school were traveling aboard the bus on their way home.
Three students in one of the cars and two students on the bus were among those injured.
The sixth person injured was a passenger in the Pontiac. None of the injuries was serious.
All of the injured students were released from the hospital by 8 p.m. the day of the crash, Germantown High School Principal Joel Farren said.
