Falls physician recommends national registry

Dr. Ann Helms of Menomonee Falls was a principal investigator for a Medical College of Wisconsin study that indicates a national registry of maternal and fetal outcomes data is needed to help doctors using drug therapy bring women with a history of stroke safely through early pregnancy.

Pinnacle Woodwork buys Germantown building

Pinnacle Woodwork has purchased property on McCormick Drive in the Germantown Industrial Park.

The company began leasing 38,500 square feet of space from Helsan Development Co. in 2007 and quickly required additional space. Helsan built an 11,000-square-foot addition to accommodate Pinnacle Woodwork, and Pinnacle bought the building when construction was completed.

Elevator firm leases Falls space

Schindler Elevator Corp. has leased 11,090 square feet at N4863 Campbell Drive, Menomonee Falls, from Oak Brook Apple.

Dougherty recognized for sales and service

Mike Dougherty of Menomonee Falls recently was recognized for outstanding sales and service at the Catholic Knights Sales Awards Celebration at the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield.

Dougherty received the Knights Guild Award, the Career Representative Life Productivity Award and the 2008 Producer of the Year Award. He has been with the Catholic Knights organization for 23 years.

Harrington Plastics opens facility in Menomonee Falls

Harrington Industrial Plastics, a distributor of industrial plastic piping systems, has opened a new facility at N4949 Campbell Ave., Menomonee Falls.

The company, currently celebrating its 50th anniversary, operates 39 locations nationwide. Primary customers include companies that manufacture semiconductors, pharmaceuticals and bio-pharmaceuticals.

Riteway unveils new bus wrap design

Riteway Bus Service, N13900 Fond du Lac Ave., Germantown, recently unveiled a new advertising bus wrap for St. Joseph's Hospital and West Bend Clinic.

An entire bus is covered with the "Partners in Caring" advertising message, which features staff members in a larger-than-life image.

Remodeling group elects new officers, board members

The Milwaukee Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry recently elected its 2009 officers and directors.

Thomas Weiher, Carmel Builders, Menomonee Falls, was elected president. Bill Wandsnider, Wandsnider Landscape, Menomonee Falls, is a returning board member.

Local residents named to magazine's list

Germantown and Menomonee Falls area residents Mike Lauer and Noleta Jansen of the Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek have been named among the top lawyers in the state by Wisconsin Super Lawyers magazine.

Lauer was included on the magazine's Super Lawyers list.

Jansen was named to the Rising Stars list.

Contractor selected for new day care facility

MSI General Corp. has been selected by High Point Commons Development to design and build a 9,062-square-foot day care at W14192 Silver Spring Drive, Menomonee Falls, for Children of America Childcare.
