Germantown Police Report: July 24, 2014

1Police who responded to an automated burglar alarm at Germantown BP, W156 N11190 Pilgrim Road, found the glass doors had been smashed out on the south side of the building at about 5:20 a.m. on Sunday, July 20. The report did not say if anything was stolen from the business.


2A resident in the W172 N9700 block of Division Road reported fencing was stolen from his backyard and his mail was tampered with at 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15. The victim gave police the name of a possible suspect and police were following up at the time of the report.

3An unknown male shoplifted several items at Fleet Farm, N96 W18200 County Line Road, and then fled in a silver van when confronted by an employee at about 2:45 p.m. on Friday, July 18. The suspect dropped the merchandise during the incident and it was returned to the store. Police also contacted the registered owner of the license plate on the suspect's vehicle and discovered it had recently been stolen off another vehicle.

4A 38-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting after he became uncooperative with employees and police at Fleet Farm, N96 W18200 County Line Road, at about 8:55 p.m. on Friday, July 18. Police discovered the suspect had a prior conviction and had been incarcerated for robbery and he was taken into custody.


5Two men were arrested for an assault that occurred at Taco Bell, N96 W17801 County Line Road, at about 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, July 20. The police report did not say when the assault took place or who was assaulted.

Drug possession

6A male was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia after two of his friends were arrested for shoplifting at Fleet Farm, N96 W18200 County Line Road, at about 7:10 p.m. on Monday, July 14. The drugs were found during a consent search of the suspects' vehicle.

7One male was cited for possession of marijuana after an officer saw three males smoking marijuana near the southeast corner of a building at Columbia St. Mary's, N112 W15415 Mequon Road, during a building check at about 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 19.

Drunken driving

8A 36-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving (second offense) and criminal operating after revocation (fourth offense) on Highway 41 and Holy Hill Road at about 12:50 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15. His preliminary blood alcohol content was unavailable.

9A male was arrested for drunken driving on Mequon and Wasaukee roads after he was involved in a hit and run in Menomonee Falls at about 3:20 a.m. on Saturday, July 19. His preliminary blood alcohol content was unavailable.


10A man was transported to the hospital after he struck a riding lawnmower with his 2012 Kawasaki motorcycle on Pilgrim and Donges Bay roads at about 2:45 p.m. on Monday, July 14. The police report did not say if anyone was cited.


11A man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he allegedly threatened to kill himself and his girlfriend at Walgreens, W156 N11261 Pilgrim Road, at about 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 14.

12Officers responding to a report of two to three gunshots and someone calling for help at a residence in the W147 N9600 block of Farm Valley Court arrested a male and a female for disorderly conduct and cited the female for a fireworks violation at about 1:40 p.m. on Monday, July 14.

13A motorist called police after an unknown man driving a red Dodge threw a cigarette butt into his vehicle while he was stopped at a red light at County Line and Division roads at about 3:40 p.m. on Monday, July 14. Police checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect vehicle.

14An officer investigating two vehicles stopped in the middle of the roadway on Windsong Circle and Windsong Road arrested both drivers for absolute sobriety violations at about 2:50 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15.

15A female was cited for reckless driving after an off-duty Milwaukee County deputy reported the driver of a gold Chevrolet was speeding through the parking lot at about 3:35 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16. Police located the driver, who was causing a disturbance and arguing with an employee inside the store. She was removed from the store by police, warned about her conduct and was cited.

16A man reported a nearby resident threatened to shoot his son and some of his friends with a shotgun for being on his property while they were walking in the N112 W20100 block of Mequon Road at about 11:10 p.m. on Friday, July 18. Police contacted the suspect, who admitted he was involved in the incident but denied threatening anyone. He was warned about his behavior but was not cited.

Germantown police responded to one domestic violence call and assisted with 15 rescue calls and three fire calls between July 14 and July 20.
