1A resident in the N111 W15600 block of Vienna Court called police after he arrived home to find his window had been smashed, a hammer was left on his bed and his residence had been burglarized at about 9:15 p.m. Sept. 15. The resident identified a possible suspect and police were attempting to locate the subject at the time of the report.
2A resident in the N111 W15800 block of Vienna Court reported seeing a man attempting to break into her living room window at 2:25 a.m. Sept. 17. The responding officers checked the apartment but no suspect(s) were located.
3A resident reported someone attempted to break into his home in the W140 N11100 block of Country Aire Drive sometime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sept. 21. The unknown suspect(s) attempted to enter by prying the metal frame on a sliding glass patio door, and the door was left about one inch ajar when the resident arrived home. The resident also stated he saw a silver minivan parked near the end of his driveway before he left the residence; police are investigating.
4A woman was arrested for shoplifting an undisclosed amount of merchandise at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at about 3:45 p.m. Sept. 15. The woman fled southbound on Appleton Avenue in a red Chevy Tahoe and was taken into custody at Taco Bell.
5Two men were arrested for shoplifting after they were seen attempting to steal a TV at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., and then fled in a black Ford Mustang at 1:45 p.m. Sept. 17. An officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle on the northbound ramp at County Line road and took the suspects into custody.
6Police arrested a man for shoplifting after an employee reported a man fleeing with merchandise at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at about 1:47 p.m. Sept. 18.
7An employee called police after two unknown females shoplifted an undisclosed amount of liquor two days in a row at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at 2:25 p.m. Sept. 18. The suspects fled in a blue, 2003 Chevy and police were following up with the owner of the vehicle at the time of the report.
8A woman was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., and was taken into custody for having a valid warrant through the Franklin Police Department at 3:15 p.m. Sept. 18.
9A subject reported several items were stolen from his work truck while it was parked at Vista Mobility Specialist (Rockfield Cannery), N132 W17384 Rockfield Road, at 9:35 a.m. Sept. 19.
10A purse was stolen out of a vehicle while it was parked at Kwik Trip, W188 N10963 Maple Road, at 3:35 p.m. Sept. 20.
11A bicycle was stolen in the W163 N11400 block of Windsor Court between 7:30 and 9:15 p.m. Sept. 20. The stolen bike was located in a corn field the next day.
12An employee at Fleet Farm reported a white male in his 20s concealed merchandise in his pocket, then fled in a silver, four-door Saab at about 10:30 a.m. Sept. 22. Police located the owner of the vehicle, who stated the suspect was her boyfriend. Police are attempting to locate the subject.
13A man was arrested for shoplifting after he concealed numerous Blu-ray discs under his shirt at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., and then fled in a Honda Accord at 11:45 a.m. Sept. 22.
14A woman who called 911 to report she was lost and needed assistance at about 11:30 p.m. Sept. 15 was eventually arrested for drunken driving after police located her inside her vehicle on Mequon Road and Kleinman Drive. She was also taken into custody for having a valid warrant through the Franklin Police Department. Her blood alcohol content was unavailable.
15A man was arrested for drunken driving on Park and Fond du Lac avenues at about 6:20 p.m. Sept. 20. His blood alcohol content was unavailable.
16A woman was arrested for drunken driving after her car went off the roadway and was stuck on the railroad tracks on Maple Road and Cedar Lane at about 1:10 a.m. Sept. 21. Her blood alcohol content was unavailable.
17A man was arrested for drunken driving after he struck a median cable on U.S. Highway 41 South, about one-half mile south of Holy Hill Road at about 3:30 a.m. Sept. 21. His blood alcohol content was unavailable.
18A male subject was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after he was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 16.
19A resident in the N105 W21100 block of Oak Lane called police after hearing a male subject yelling for help from the woods north of his residence for about 20 minutes at 6:50 p.m. Sept. 19. The responding officers located the man, who was yelling for help with an escaped cow on his farm.
20A resident of an apartment building in the N114 W16000 block of Sylvan Circle called police to report he heard a group of elderly females in the community room discussing "what a drunk he is," and would like an officer to respond to stop the rumors before they escalated at about 7:20 p.m. Sept. 21. The responding officer made contact with the caller and one of the females, and both were advised to reduce or stop interacting with each other.
· Germantown police assisted with 15 rescue calls and one fire call between Sept. 15 and Sept. 22.
21The Germantown Fire Department and police responded to a report of a lightning strike at a residence in the W213 N11200 block of Meeker Hill Lane at 10:42 p.m. Sept. 19. When emergency workers arrived at the scene they observed that three poles were struck. We Energies also responded to the scene.
