BURGLARY

1A resident called police at 5:10 p.m. May 1 to report an unknown subject(s) entered his father's garage in the N132 W17400 block of Rockfield Road, broke the hinge off a chest freezer and stole 72 sticks of venison summer sausage.

2A resident in the W148 N9900 block of Rimrock Road reported an unknown subject(s) entered his locked home and stole $700 at 8:55 a.m. May 2. The subject(s) entered the house through a window.

THEFT

3 Fishing gear was stolen from a truck in the N115 W19000 block of Edison Drive between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. April 27.

4A GPS unit was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the W140 N9900 block of Seven Pines Way between the evening hours of April 28 and 7:50 p.m. April 29.

5A backpack and a GPS unit were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at a residence in the N100 W14900 block of Windsong Court at 4 p.m. April 29.

6 Personal items were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the W143 N10200 block of Gatewood Court at 6:15 p.m. April 29.

7 The driver of a white Toyota 4Runner left without paying for $33 of gas at Willow Creek BP, W210 N10451 Appleton Ave., at about 12:05 p.m. April 30. Police have a suspect and are following up.

8A special watch was requested at Enercon Industries, N120 W19349 Freistadt Road, after the driver of a white box truck attempted to steal pallets between 12:30 and 1 p.m. April 30.

9 The driver of a red Ford Taurus left without paying for $57 of gas at Germantown BP, W156 N11190 Pilgrim Road, at 2:55 p.m. May 1. The suspect is described as a male in his mid-20s wearing a gray U.S. Air Force shirt.

10A resident in the W211 N11700 block of Hilltop Circle called police at 9:30 a.m. May 2 to report his sister took property out of his home while he was in jail.

11A manager reported an unknown woman passed a counterfeit $100 bill at World Market, N96 W18970 County Line Road, at 4:05 p.m. May 2.

12A male subject was arrested for shoplifting after he was seen concealing merchandise at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at 11:45 a.m. May 5.

13 The driver of a white Toyota left without paying for $50 of gas at Clark Oil, W156 N9650 Pilgrim Road, at 12:50 p.m. May 5. A check of the car's license number revealed the plates were reported stolen out of Milwaukee.

DRUG POSSESSION

14A 34-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana after a resident reported an intoxicated male subject in front of a home in the W173 N12200 block of Fond du Lac Avenue at 10:30 p.m. April 30.

15A male subject was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after police responded to a report of a possible drinking party that was posted on Facebook at the Country Inn & Suites, W188 N11020 Maple Road, at 10:12 p.m. May 1. The subject's brother, a 20-year-old man, was also taken into custody for bail jumping and three females were cited for underage drinking.

ACCIDENTS

16A female was transported to Community Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries after she struck a car that failed to yield to her vehicle at Wasaukee and Freistadt roads, causing her car to strike another vehicle stopped at the stop sign at about 10:40 a.m. May 1. The driver of the first car she struck, a female, was cited for failure to yield the right of way.

17 Four people were transported to the hospital after a driver rear-ended a car that quickly slammed on its brakes to avoid hitting a third car, causing a three-car, chain-reaction collision at the stop sign on River Lane and Mequon Road at 2:35 p.m. May 1. Two drivers, both females, were cited for following too closely.

VANDALISM

18A male juvenile was arrested for vandalism after setting bus seats on fire at Kennedy Middle School, W160 N11836 Crusader Court, at 10 a.m. May 3.

OTHER

19A man reported being punched by a male subject after an altercation at Haupt Strasse Park, N116 W16952 Main St., at 8:50 p.m. April 30. The man who threw the punch will be cited for disorderly conduct.

20A resident in the N117 W21000 block of Marlette Drive called 911 to report that her neighbor's motion-activated yard light shines into her bedroom, making it difficult for her to sleep at 11:42 p.m. May 1. The woman was advised to close her drapes and was also warned about misuse of 911.

21A 46-year-old woman was arrested after she passed a fraudulent prescription at Pick 'n Save, N112 W16200 Mequon Road, at 5:45 p.m. May 3.

FIRE

22 The Germantown Fire Department and police responded a residential fire in the N97 W14400 block of Elmwood Drive at 2:37 p.m. May 2. The fire, which was caused by a lightning strike, caused about $100,000 of damage.

Germantown police assisted with 14 rescue calls and one fire call between April 29 and May 5.
