1A resident in the W212 N10300 block of Oak Lane called police at 11 a.m. April 8 to report all the gas was stolen from his red 2002 Ford truck while he was on vacation. An extra patrol was requested in the area.
2Two people were arrested for shoplifting an undisclosed amount of merchandise at Fleet Farm, N96 W18200 County Line Road, at 6:15 p.m. April 8.
3An unknown man in his mid-20s shoplifted an undisclosed amount of baby formula at Pick 'n Save, N112 W16200 Mequon Road, then fled westbound on Mequon Road in a tan, four-door vehicle at 8:20 p.m. April 8.
4A 42-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., after he concealed an undisclosed amount of merchandise and fled the store at 12:30 p.m. April 10. He was quickly captured by police and taken into custody.
5CDs were stolen out of a locked vehicle parked at Gander Mountain, W190 N10768 Commerce Circle, between 8:40 a.m. and 12:55 p.m. April 12. A window was broken to gain entry.
6A 23-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting after she was seen removing security tags from Blu-ray movies with a blue box cutter at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at 2:55 p.m. April 12.
7A 29-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana on Fond du Lac Avenue and Spaten Court at 11:10 a.m. April 9.
8A 47-year-old man was arrested for drugged driving after a motorist reported his white minivan was swerving all over the road and was driving at various speeds on U.S. Highway 41 and Holy Hill Road at 11:50 p.m. April 7. He was transported to the hospital for a legal blood draw, the results of which were unavailable.
9A 25-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, after a towing company received a request to tow his vehicle off the baseball diamonds at Kennedy Middle School, W160 N11836 Crusader Court, at 1:30 a.m. April 13. His blood alcohol content was unavailable.
10A man was arrested for vandalism after he refused to leave his ex-girlfriend's residence and then caused damage to her apartment in the N114 W16000 block of Sylvan Circle at about 7 p.m. April 10.
11Police and firefighters responded to a fire alarm in the first floor hallway at an apartment complex in the N114 W16700 block of Crown Drive at 5 a.m. April 13. It was discovered the alarm was set off when someone intentionally discharged a dry chemical fire extinguisher in the hallway.
12Officers responded to a residence in the W169 N11400 block of Biscayne Drive after a resident reported an unknown male was yelling and causing a disturbance outside her condominium at 9:30 p.m. April 7. The officers met with the male subject and found he was having a loud conversation with himself while listening to Machine Head on his headphones. He was warned and advised about yelling along with his music.
13Germantown police and fire departments called in the Milwaukee Bomb Squad and the U.S. Department of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, and the Washington County and Wisconsin State Patrol responded for traffic control after a driver reported two suspicious boxes wrapped in duct tape at the corner of Mequon and River Lane roads at 4:42 p.m. April 8. Officials discovered the package contained sandbags, which were possibly left by a local realty company.
14Three female juveniles were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after an off-duty officer called police to report an erratic driver on U.S. Highway 41 and County Line Road at 2:05 a.m. April 13.
15Police responded to an anonymous report of a man riding a horse and screaming for a woman on Biscayne Drive and Main Street at 9:30 a.m. April 13. When they arrived on the scene officers discovered a man was using his horse to propose to his girlfriend. His girlfriend said, "yes."
Germantown police assisted with 13 rescue calls and three fire calls between April 8 and April 13.
16Police and firefighters responded to a home in the W151 N10700 block of Preserve Parkway after it was struck by lightning at about 4 p.m. April 9. The lightning struck the roof of the house, causing pieces of the roof to land in the yard. A damage estimate was unavailable.
