Police Report: March 11

THEFT

1A coffee maker and an iron were reported stolen from a room at Super 8 Motel, N96 W17490 County Line Road, at 10 a.m. March 4.

2Cash of $3,850 was stolen from a safe at a home in the W156 N10900 block of Catskill Lane at 5:40 p.m. March 4. The victim identified the suspect and police are investigating.

3The front and rear license plates were reported stolen off a vehicle parked at the Park 'n Ride, W195 N10653 Lannon Road, at 7:19 p.m. March 6.

4A cellphone was stolen from a neighbor's apartment in the N114 W15500 block of Sylvan Circle while the owner was having her ear pierced at 4:30 a.m. March 7.

5An unknown man shoplifted a camera system at Menards, W186 N9754 Appleton Ave., at 1:10 p.m. March 8 then fled the lot in a black 2005 Chrysler Town & Country van. The license plate number of the van was obtained and police are following up.

DRUG POSSESSION

6A 21-year-old woman was arrested for possession of narcotics during a traffic stop in the N112 W16500 block of Mequon Road at 7:05 p.m. March 3.

7Officers investigating a report of disorderly conduct arrested a 20-year-old man for possession of narcotics in the N96 W17500 block of County Line Road at about 8:50 p.m. March 6.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

8A 22-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving on Fond du Lac Avenue and Rockfield Road at 2:15 a.m. March 8. His blood alcohol content was unavailable.

ACCIDENTS

9A 28-year-old man was transported to Community Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries after his 2000 Ford rolled over on U.S. Highway 41 at Lannon Road at about 4:30 p.m. March 5.

VANDALISM

10The driver of a four-door Pontiac G6 struck and damaged the mailbox at Meyers Truck Sales, W188 N10667 Maple Road, around 6 p.m. March 4. Police are following up with a possible suspect.

OTHER

11Officers responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle behind a business property at W172 N13050 Division Road arrested a 19-year-old man for having two valid warrants through the Platteville Police Department at 10:30 p.m. March 4.

12Officers responded to the Germantown Library, N112 W16957 Mequon Road, after receiving a report that a juvenile girl was consuming an unknown substance which may contain alcohol at 12:20 p.m. March 5. The officer met with the girl who stated she was using Listerine because she recently had her tongue pierced.

13A 22-year-old man was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon after police found an expandable baton in his possession during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 41 and Freistadt Road at 4:20 p.m. March 9.

Germantown police responded to one domestic violence call and assisted with 13 rescue calls and one fire call between March 3 and March 10.

FIRE

14The Germantown Fire Department and police responded to a report of an oven fire in the N120 W12600 block of Freistadt Road at 4:43 p.m. March 9. The residence was evacuated and firefighters extinguished the fire. No injuries or damages were reported.
