BURGLARY

1Police are investigating a burglary at Nardo's Passport Inn, W204 N11498 Goldendale Road, that occurred sometime during the early morning hours of Feb. 22.

THEFT

2A 47-year-old Menomonee Falls man was arrested for shoplifting groceries from Sendik's, N112 W15800 Mequon Road, at 9:35 a.m. Feb. 18.

3The driver of a black Volkswagen left without paying for an undisclosed amount of gasoline at Willow Creek BP, W201 N10451 Appleton Ave., at 12:20 p.m. Feb. 19.

4A 57-year-old Sussex man was arrested for shoplifting an undisclosed amount of merchandise at Fleet Farm, N96 W18200 County Line Road, at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 19.

5A vice president at Airgas, W185 N11300 Whitney Drive, reported on Feb. 21 that a former male employee embezzled $30,000 from the company and committed fraud beginning in March of 2012.

6The driver of a 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo left without paying for $20 of gas at Germantown Mobil, N96 W17500 County Line Road, at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 23.

DRUG POSSESSION

7Two males were arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop in the N96 W17500 block of County Line Road at 9:55 p.m. Feb. 17.

8A 31-year-old man and a 42-year-old man were arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop on North U.S. Highway 41 and Holy Hill Road at 4:25 p.m. Feb. 20.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

9A woman was arrested for drunken driving after she struck a car in the parking lot at Bub's Irish Pub, N116 W16218 Main St., at 1:05 a.m. Feb. 24. Her blood alcohol content was unavailable.

10A 42-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving after an unidentified caller reported an intoxicated driver driving southbound on U.S. Highway 41 from Pioneer Plaza in a silver Hyundai at 2:45 a.m. Feb. 24. An officer pulled the car over in the N96 W17500 block of County Line Road and she was also charged with obstructing for giving police a false name. Her BAC was unavailable.

ACCIDENTS

11A man was transported to Community Memorial Hospital after a caller reported an unresponsive driver inside his vehicle in a ditch in the W142 N9600 block of Knollcrest Circle at 7:50 a.m. Feb. 23. The driver's injuries were not disclosed in the police log.

12A woman was cited for inattentive driving and following too closely after she caused a three-vehicle accident by rear-ended a car stopped for a red light at County Line Road and Richfield Way at 3:57 p.m. Feb. 15. No injuries were reported.

VANDALISM

13A 36-year-old man, a 47-year-old man, a 24-year-old man and a 19-year-old man were arrested for criminal damage and trespassing after they allegedly smashed windows and damaged property at a residence in the W210 N11100 block of Mountbrook Drive, then fled in a black Ford Expedition at 11:05 p.m. Feb. 22.

OTHER

14Officers responding to a report that a man dressed in black was swinging a sword or machete near Pilgrim Road and County Line Road arrested a 34-year-old man for obstructing at 8:30 p.m. Feb. 18. The report stated the man was chopping ice when the report was received.

15An employee called police after an unknown man attempted to enter an occupied vehicle in the parking lot at Walgreens, W156 N11261 Pilgrim Road, at 7:20 p.m. Feb. 22. The subject, a 50- to 60-year-old male with a gray beard wearing a green jacket and baseball hat, was last seen walking westbound from the parking lot. Police were unable to locate him.

16A resident in the N113 W15200 block of Montgomery Drive called police to report an unknown subject keeps stealing the TV section from her Sunday newspaper at 8:55 a.m. Feb. 24. The resident stated she observed a female in a light colored vehicle at her mailbox, and when she went to get her paper the TV section was missing. Police located the vehicle at an apartment complex across the street and warned the female suspect received a verbal warning.

Germantown police responded to two domestic violence calls and assisted with 14 rescue calls between Feb. 17 and 24.
