BURGLARY

1A portable heater was stolen out of a garage in the N110 W17000 block of Ashbury Lane between Jan. 26 and Feb. 2.

THEFT

2A 31-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting after he was seen concealing merchandise at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at 2:15 p.m. Feb. 2.

3An unknown man shoplifted a television set and a sound bar at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at about 7:30 p.m. Feb. 2.

4A 49-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting merchandise at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at 11:40 a.m. Feb. 4.

5A 24-year-old woman and a 23-year-old woman were arrested for shoplifting after they were seen attempting to flee with two carts full of unpaid merchandise at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at 3:15 p.m. Feb. 4. Both women were also taken into custody for having outstanding warrants with the Greendale Police Department.

6A 32-year-old man and a 20-year-old man were arrested for shoplifting an unknown amount of merchandise at Fleet Farm, N96 W18200 County Line Road, at 6:45 p.m. Feb. 7.

7A purse was stolen from a locked vehicle in a parking lot in the W175 N11100 block of Stonewood Drive before 7:35 p.m. Feb. 8. A window was broken to gain entry.

8A resident reported personal items were stolen from her locked vehicle while it was parked in a lot in the W175 N11100 block of Stonewood Drive before 7:55 p.m. Feb. 8. Entry was gained by smashing some windows.

9A briefcase was stolen from a locked vehicle parked in the N112 W15200 block of Mequon Road before 8:15 p.m. Feb. 8. The rear window was broken to gain entry.

10While checking the area for vehicle break-ins, officers reported finding four additional vehicles with broken windows in the parking lot at Cracker Barrel, W176 N9778 Rivercrest Drive, at about 8:30 p.m. Feb. 8. The owners of the vehicles told police that multiple items had also been stolen from their cars.

11The driver of a silver Kia SUV left without paying for $16 of gas at Fleet Farm, N96 W18200 County Line Road, at 12:50 p.m. Feb. 9.

12A 21-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting after he was seen concealing merchandise at Walmart, W190 N9855 Appleton Ave., at 1:40 p.m. Feb. 9.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

13A 28-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving after an officer saw him drive his car into a ditch on Main Street and Western Avenue at 11:40 p.m. Feb. 9. His blood alcohol content was unavailable.

ACCIDENTS

14A 21-year-old Sussex man was cited for speeding/driving too fast for conditions and hit and run (property damage) after he lost control of his car when he swerved to avoid hitting a deer on County Line and Division Road, drove onto a median and struck a traffic sign post, then fled the scene at about 10:45 p.m. Feb. 1. Officers quickly located the driver after they recovered his front license plate and bumper at the scene of the accident.

15A 26-year-old Lomira man was arrested for drugged driving and transported to the hospital with unknown injuries after he lost control of his car while trying to put on his seat belt and struck a guardrail, crossed over the centerline and hit a stop sign, then dropped off a 15-foot embankment and struck a tree while driving south on Appleton Avenue just north of Meeker Hill Lane at 8:56 p.m. Feb. 2. He was also cited for inattentive driving, no insurance and a seat belt violation.

16A 15-year-old Colgate girl was cited for failure to have control of a vehicle and an instruction permit violation after she accidentally pressed the accelerator instead of the brake pedal while trying to park her car and struck a window at the entrance of Kwik Trip, W188 N10963 Maple Road, at about 1:30 a.m. Feb. 3. The driver and two 15-year-old female passengers were released to their parents and no injuries were reported.

OTHER

17A 27-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct after he caused a disturbance by screaming, slamming doors and refusing to turn down the volume of his TV at an apartment in the W158 N11100 block of Legend Avenue at 11:20 p.m. Feb. 5.

18A 17-year-old boy was cited for underage drinking in the W180 N11500 River Lane at about 8:30 p.m. Feb. 8.

Germantown police assisted with 21 rescue calls between Feb. 2 and Feb. 11.
