Katie Stanczyk and Willie Albiero of Germantown are planning a 2012 wedding.
Parents of the couple are Gary and Sue Stanczyk and Tom and Mary Albiero, all of Germantown.
The bride-to-be and future groom are 1984 graduates of Germantown High School and 2008 graduates of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a product specialist with Fiskars Brands in Madison. He is a third-year medical student at UW-Madison.
The couple became engaged July 1, 2010, while hiking at Devil's Lake.
