Paige Krier and Jeffrey Ludin are planning a May 18, 2013, wedding at the Rotunda in downtown Waukesha.
Parents of the couple are Jim and Kim Krier of Germantown and Bob and Kathy Lackovic of Butler.
The bride-to-be, a 2005 graduate of Germantown High School, earned her bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2011. She is a radiologic technologist at Aurora Advanced Healthcare in West Bend.
The future groom, a 2004 graduate of Hamilton High School in Sussex, finished a five-year apprenticeship with Steamfitters Local 601. A journeyman steamfitter, he works for Total Mechanical in Milwaukee.
The couple became engaged July 16, 2012, in their apartment - a Monday, so it was very unexpected.
