Digerness-Eibs

Amanda Digerness and Michael Eibs are planning a Sept. 27, 2014, wedding in Germantown.

Parents of the couple are Mark and Ann Digerness of Germantown and Rick and Joanne Eibs of Port Washington.

The bride-to-be, a 2004 graduate of Germantown High School, earned her bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is receptionist with Germantown Mutual Insurance.

The future groom, a 2003 graduate of Port Washington High School, was a member of the Wisconsin Army National Guard from 2002 to 2008 and served overseas as a part of Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2006 to 2007. He is a dispatcher with the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Department.

The couple became engaged at the home of the bride's parents Christmas Eve 2012.
