Public Forum - Germantown Public Library, November 9th...
Jodi Kessel Lyon, a Germantown resident, has organized a public forum that will be held at the Germantown Public Library on Monday, November 9th at 6:30PM in the larger public meeting room. This is intended to be a question and answer session with no predetermined outcome, nor any particular political goals.
She has invited representatives from the various departments within the village as well as a representatives of the Village Administration and Village Board.
The purpose is to provide residents with the opportunity to raise questions about how departments are run, how the equipment and manpower available will measure up to the demands, what additional cuts in manpower may be under consideration if there is no agreement on wage freezes with various bargaining units, and what the various options may be from the viewpoint of citizens and officials,
The village is at a critical point given forces, many of which are beyond the local ability to control, that have come to bear, and this forum will give you the opportunity to ask your questions and hear the concerns of others at the same time.
